Vanaf 6 februari is SUBWALK aan de Hommelstraat gesloten. SUBWALK staat niet stil en zal binnenkort komen met een spiksplinternieuwe website waarop alles te volgen zal zijn! Dus hou het in de gaten of schrijf je in voor de nieuwsbrief!

SUBWALK at PLAYGROUNDS FESTIVAL 2009
2 days of great digital outburst in tilburg.
Meet the industry, meet the artists, meet your new friends and see a lot of inspiring artist-talks, films,character-design, performances and concerts.
During this inspiring two-day festival you can see the best digital audiovisual art in the world, such as musicvideos, animations, commercials, character design, VFX and games AND you can find out how it's been made during artist lectures and Q&A's. Playgrounds aims to be an open festival, we inform you about the[strike][/strike] process of making digital film and design. We invite the best digital artists from the world to get away from their computer screens and talk about their work. Of course, screenings with the best and most new digital shorts are an important part of our programme, but the highlights are the artist lectures which are best known for studios sharing their inspiration, work and new ideas with the audience. No tech talk for insiders, but an unique look behind the scenes. You might want to know what it is like to work in the filmindustry in LA, how to make a commercial or what it takes to make plush characters come to live?

GRAFFITI WORKSHOP tijdens WIJKDAG KLARENDAG
Jaarlijks wordt er in de maand juni een Klarendals wijkfeest georganiseerd. Maar in 2009 hebben diverse actieve partijen de handen ineen geslagen en pakken extra groot uit! Een dag vol activiteiten voor alle leeftijden door de hele wijk heen.
SUBWALK organiseert een GRAFFITI WORKSHOP met professionele graffiti artiesten tijdens WIJKDAG KLARENDAL. Dit zal plaatsvinden op het JOHANNAPLEIN in KLARENDAL (bij het voormalige café de Amstelbron) tussen 14 - 18 u.
Graffiti is een veelzijdig ingezette tool voor muurschilderingen. Graffiti spreekt veel jongeren aan, maar er kleeft ook altijd een vooroordeel aan. De bedoeling van deze muurschildering is dat de jongeren op een positieve manier kennis maken met graffiti en ze getoont wordt dat je ook legaal aan het werk kan gaan. Bovendien worden de jongeren op een positieve manier betrokken bij de ontwikkelingen in de wijk en zo in aanraking gebracht met een andere manier van omgaan met de openbare ruimte.

ART EXPO 'LES NOUVELLE VAGUES'
