Went to RAAF yesterday. RAAF is a theater play by de VOGELFABRIEK with TYGO GERNANDT, SANNE VOGEL and EGBERT-JAN WEEBER. Inspirered by ‘Black Bird’ by Nina Simone, SANNE wrote this play about 3 people who live on the edge of society. Two brothers live on the rooftop of a car park next to a nest young ravens. Ravian thinks he is one of them and Rico uses cheap drugs to run from reality. Everything changes when Ronja finds them. She is an ordinary girl from a neat neighbourhood who longs for a misserable life with torn panty hoses and mascara running down her face. They confront each other and their lives are turned uside down. It’s a play about chances and choises and it shows the thin line between normal and abnormal and . And above all RAAF is an exciting mix between film and theater.
